Summary: MASH 57 was Daily Male's first haring effort and he introduced MASH to a great site! Terrific park, friendly staff, easy directions, great setting, adequate parking, clean bathrooms, playground for the kids, covered on-after venue,--blaa, blaa, blaa--it was great! Runners enjoyed a 80-90 minute run through wooded areas and across rice fields in a counter-clockwise loop on a well-marked trail while walkers circumnavigated the lake. Despite intermitent sprinkles, everyone present enjoyed the outing on this very autumnish day!
#57 became 57 & 58 out of respect for departing Large Member's many contributions to MASH. With 49 MASH hashes under his belt, the departing Grand Master performed a spontaneous solo hash (fully-sanctioned by the MASH Committee!) in order to earn the coveted 50 MASH Hashes Patch! MASH farewelled the GM and La Bomba, our Haberdasher extraordinaire while we welcomed Terry Nichols, Royal Norse, and Siri Torvold into the Committee ranks. all in all, it was another great outing for MASH!
